War means nothing to the ignorant

It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. War is hell.
- William Tecumseh Sherman, Union General in the American Civil War (1820-1891)

Those who advocate war should first be required to stand facing a war advocate from the opposing side and choose whether or not to attempt to kill that person.

Then, before making the final decision, he or she should visit a field hospital where those who have not died in a battle, but have survived damaged or in pieces, lie in hospital.

War is nothing more than a video game to those who have not faced the realities of war.
